Hello

A brief summary

Most of you probably know me as a composer, musician, and improviser with a habit of ignoring genre boundaries.

But here’s something you might not know: I started improvising on the piano before I ever learned to play it "properly" around the age of five. A year or two later, I stumbled through a version of Pachelbel’s Canon (almost certainly full of mistakes) but couldn’t resist adding my own phrases. Something about that moment lit a spark.

I also tried the same thing with Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On, though that one was not quite as profound.

If you’re here because you’ve ditched Instagram, congratulations - I am deeply envious. I’d love to do the same, but it feels like musicians are trapped there (for now anyway). If anyone’s working on a good, non-evil alternative, please let me know.
